Plot Summary: A loner in post-apocyolyptic Australia is scavenging for food and gas. He finds himself helping an unlikely band of people to escape with their gas and their lives.

Thoughts: For 1981 standards this is a very well produced fillm. They did well to do the prologue with canned war footage as opposed to creating it new. Any atempt that in 1981 would have been exceptionaly cheezy. But for the most part it is a good movie. The main reason to see this movie is so that you can see "Mad Max: Beyond the Thunderdome" and have it make sense.
