Plot Summary: An underwater drilling platform is commendered by the military to do a search & rescue on a sunken sub. They encounter somthing completly unexpected along the way, somthing that changes the whole of the world.

Thoughts: Ok well first off it's a clostrophobic's nightmare. Cramped quarters, thousands of feet underwater, flooding, and crazies. I love this movie. Granted that I have a predisposition towards sci-fi to begin with. Now the thing is I absoultly love apocolyptic films, particularlly of the cold war persuasion. Although the bombs don't acctually fall, there is that threat of "the end" througout the film all the way up until the end. The special edition ending I happen to like best. But that's just me.
